    • Why Go Natural?

Give your system and your skin a break from the large quantities of preservatives, colourings and scents associated with mass produced products which often irritate the skin.  So many products unnecessarily use the above. We only promote products that involve none of the above or as little as possible where it is absolutely needed (more often than not this would be in reference to the possible preservation of a product which would otherwise have a shelf life of a couple of hours).

    • Why are some people more sensitive than others?

Some food products contain unnatural preservatives and chemicals which can cause irritations and allergies, especially in young children when foods contain colouring. Cosmetics can also cause sensitivity especially as many of them contain lanolin which is an animal based product and that is why natural products are so beneficial as they contain plant based ingredients. Our bodies were not designed to tolerate unnatural substances and that is why so many people suffer from allergies and irritation to the skin.

    • What are the benefits of natural products?

Natural products do not contain parabens which have been said absorb into the body and can cause unwanted problems.  Natural products are predominantly safe to use and are not known to cause harmful effects and often help with many ailments as well as being environmentally friendly.

    • Should I only use natural products?

It is unrealistic to use ONLY natural products as it is quite impossible to try to avoid products which are not labelled organic or natural. As more people try to incorporate exercise and healthy eating into their lifestyle it is also sensible to try to replace many ‘mass produced’ products with natural products, where possible. Modern society has contributed to an addiction of any readily available product, however, we have to learn how to wean ourselves off such bad habits and wean ourselves onto products which will be more beneficial to us.

    • What are the first steps to going natural?

People always tend to read labels to observe calories, prices etc, however, many seem to ignore what ingredients a product actually contains. Begin by making yourself aware of a few basics and observe if an item contains parabens and silicone and if foods that contain high quantities of salt, sugar and fat. For example, some products may be labelled as low fat but the quantity of sugar may be very high. Labels should be read very thoroughly. Slowly begin by replacing items that you often use with a natural product and the rest will come effortlessly.
